Private Household Coordinator / Personal Assistant
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $30–$50/hour, with flexibility up to $60/hour for highly experienced candidates
Hours: Approximately 25–50 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and dependable professional to help manage the day-to-day needs of a private Houston residence. This position combines household coordination, personal assistance, property oversight, errands, and hands-on support when needed.
The right person will be organized, resourceful, discreet, and capable of working independently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a household, anticipating needs, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll Handle
- Coordinate day-to-day household schedules, appointments, errands, and priorities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for service providers, contractors, and vendors
- Track household repairs, maintenance projects, invoices, and service needs
- Assist with general organization and light housekeeping when necessary
- Help oversee both the primary residence and an additional nearby property
- Identify issues before they become problems and follow through until tasks are completed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting a private household, family, executive, or similar environment
- Highly dependable with the ability to manage responsibilities without constant direction
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Professional, mature, discreet, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working in a household where dementia-related care considerations may arise
- Flexible and willing to move between personal-assistant, household-management, and light housekeeping responsibilities
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
Position Information
- $30–$50/hour, depending on experience
- Exceptional candidates may be considered up to $60/hour
- Approximately 25–50 hours weekly
- PTO may be negotiated
- No traditional benefits package
- Compensation paid directly by the private employer
