Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Current NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
- Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to performing duties
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to travel between assigned physician offices
- Comfortable working independently after training
Must Haves
- Create a reassuring, conversational experience for patients who may be anxious about testing
- Adapt quickly to different physicians, office teams, workflows, and daily patient volumes
- Perform cardiac SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging and troubleshoot image-quality concerns
- Handle venipuncture, radiopharmaceutical administration, radiation safety, and patient documentation
- Take ownership of equipment readiness, supplies, patient flow, and day-to-day issues without constant supervision
- Represent the organization professionally while working within client physician practices
Preferred Background & Skills
- Cardiac SPECT or nuclear cardiology experience
- Physician-office or outpatient imaging experience
- Experience with Philips, Siemens C-Cam, GE, or comparable nuclear imaging systems
- Familiarity with 4DM, Oasis, DICOM, and PACS
- Strong venipuncture and direct patient-care skills
