Ready to take your Swiss CNC experience beyond the shop floor?
We are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC professional to join a growing Applications team supporting customers with programming, setup, process development, troubleshooting and training.
You do not need to currently be an Applications Engineer. Experienced Swiss CNC Programmers, Setup Machinists and CNC Applications professionals are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Program and set up Swiss CNC machines
- Develop machining processes from prints and customer specifications
- Perform first-part runoffs, time studies and process optimization
- Train and support customers on CNC programming, setup and operation
- Troubleshoot machining and application challenges
- Support Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and other CNC equipment
- Assist with machine assessments and part-processing recommendations
- Provide technical support both remotely and at customer locations
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of CNC machining/programming experience
- Strong Swiss CNC experience
- Strong CNC programming and G-code/M-code knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Programming, setup and troubleshooting experience
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Citizen, Cincom or Miyano experience is highly preferred, but other strong Swiss CNC backgrounds will be considered.
