A respected and growing restaurant group with concepts ranging from ultra-fine dining to modern emerging brands is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee day-to-day accounting for multiple restaurant locations in the Dallas area. Accounting Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience in multi-unit, upscale casual, upscale, or fine dining restaurant environments
- Full-service restaurant experience with significant bar/alcohol operations required
- Deep understanding of food, beverage, and wine inventory accounting, COGS, and restaurant-level P&Ls
- Hands-on experience owning month-end close, GL, reconciliations, financial statements, AP, and restaurant-level reporting
- Strong proficiency with Restaurant365 (R365) or similar restaurant accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (relocation is not available)
- Polished, professional communicator comfortable working with ownership and operational leadership
Accounting Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience managing accounting for wine inventories and large beverage programs
- Proficiency with Toast or similar restaurant POS and purchasing systems
- Background in multi-entity and intercompany accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience supporting internal controls, fixed assets, and tax reporting
Accounting Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own and execute all aspects of month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting across multiple restaurant concepts
- Manage accounts payable, cash and credit card reconciliations, sales reporting, and daily restaurant-level accounting
- Oversee food, beverage, alcohol, and wine inventory accounting, including physical counts, valuation, reconciliation, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate restaurant and consolidated P&Ls, providing actionable financial insights to operations and ownership
- Support key accounting workflows in Restaurant365 (R365), including integrations, process improvements, and reporting
- Collaborate closely with restaurant leaders and family office on budgeting, controls, and ongoing business needs
