Restaurant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience with GM-level leadership
- Proven success leading upscale, high-volume full-service operations
- Strong P&L knowledge with experience managing labor, costs, budgeting, and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain strong restaurant teams
Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in upscale casual, chef-driven, steakhouse, or fine dining concepts
- Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and elevated beverage service
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence and commitment to hospitality
- Track record of driving guest satisfaction, operational consistency, and team accountability
