General Manager

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally in high-volume settings.
- Proven background in bar operations, craft cocktails, nightlife, or live entertainment.
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, COGS, labor costs, and inventory control.
- Bold, charismatic leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in high-energy, late-night environments.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience behind the bar or as a lead bartender in a craft cocktail setting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute promotions or live entertainment events.
- Skilled in building, leading, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Passion for hospitality, with an exceptional guest service mindset.
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, bar, and live entertainment.
- Build, motivate, and hold accountable a diverse team, ensuring adherence to top operational and financial standards.
- Drive sales, guest traffic, and beverage revenue while maximizing profitability.
- Analyze and manage key financial metrics, addressing waste, costs, and margins.
- Maintain exceptional service and craft cocktail standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and elevate guest experiences.
- Handle guest concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction even during peak hours.
- Lead by example with a strong floor presence and a collaborative approach.
