Sous Chef – Upscale Restaurant | Savannah, GA

Are you a passionate culinary leader ready to take the next step in your career? We're partnering with an established hospitality group in Savannah to find a talented Sous Chef for an upscale restaurant.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing group with a strong reputation for quality food, hospitality, and a team-focused culture. The ideal candidate will have solid scratch-kitchen experience and the leadership skills to help drive a successful kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Lead, coach, and develop the BOH team
• Ensure consistent execution of quality food and presentation standards
• Manage inventory, ordering, food cost, and waste
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling and labor management
• Help maintain an organized, efficient kitchen
• Step into leadership responsibilities in the Executive Chef's absence

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale restaurant
• Scratch-kitchen experience required
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience in a high-volume operation
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Passion for quality food and hospitality
• Stable work history with progressive career growth

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$70,000 base salary
• 10 days PTO after 90 days
• 5 sick days
