Attractions Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in food & beverage and/or hospitality
  • Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with all MS Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Driver’s license or reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand 8–10 hours
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Attractions Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience with inventory and food cost management
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and labor regulations in food service

Attractions Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support back-of-house staff, ensuring high standards in food quality and service
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development for kitchen team members
  • Maintain accurate food logs, monitor food costs, and review weekly sales and labor projections
  • Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Manage staffing schedules and participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Support on- and off-site catering operations and special events
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
