RESTAURANT MANAGER
Washington, DC | $70K–$80K + 10% Bonus + Benefits
An established, high-profile restaurant in Washington, DC is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join its leadership team.
This is a great opportunity for a polished hospitality professional with an upscale or luxury restaurant background who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, and making sure the guest experience is consistently on point.
The right person will be hands-on, professional, and comfortable managing the day-to-day demands of a busy, high-end restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and service
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team
- Maintain high standards for service and guest experience
- Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance
- Monitor labor, sales, and operating results
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery
- Maintain a professional and polished restaurant environment
- Stay visible and engaged on the floor during service
Requirements
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience
- Upscale, polished, or luxury restaurant experience required
- Experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, labor, and scheduling
- Professional communication and presentation
- Stable career history with demonstrated progression
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service

- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the floor
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of elevated service standards
