Senior Performance Analyst, Marketing Intelligence
Location: Savannah, GA (Onsite)
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst, Marketing Intelligence to join a growing analytics organization supporting performance marketing and customer acquisition. This individual will play a key role in transforming complex marketing and operational data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll own reporting initiatives, investigate performance trends, improve measurement frameworks, and develop analytical solutions that help optimize marketing investment, customer acquisition, and operational performance. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems with data.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions and executive dashboards that support marketing performance and business operations.
- Analyze campaign, channel, customer journey, and conversion data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Develop descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
- Partner with marketing, operations, CRM, technology, and data teams to improve reporting accuracy and data quality.
- Define and maintain KPI standards, reporting documentation, and data governance processes.
- Perform root cause analysis on reporting discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Support forecasting, performance measurement, and analytical modeling initiatives.
- Build self-service dashboards that provide business leaders with timely, reliable insights.
- Evaluate new analytics tools and technologies to improve reporting capabilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional leadership in a clear, business-focused manner.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Performance Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience building complex reporting solutions from requirements through implementation.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics, attribution, customer acquisition, and performance measurement.
- Experience creating dashboards using Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
- Experience working with CRM and marketing data.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or dbt.
- Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, or statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with web analytics and customer journey reporting.
- Experience partnering with engineering or data teams to improve reporting infrastructure.
- Background supporting marketing, lead generation, financial services, legal services, healthcare, insurance, or other customer acquisition-focused organizations.
