Sign Installer

We are seeking an experienced Sign Installer to join a growing team and handle the installation, service, and repair of a wide variety of commercial signage. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and enjoys seeing a project through from preparation to final installation.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of sign installation experience and is comfortable working with illuminated signage, channel letters, monuments, pylons, vinyl, lifts, power tools, and basic electrical components.

Sign Installer Responsibilities

  • Organize and prepare jobs, materials, tools, and equipment prior to going onsite
  • Read and interpret work orders, drawings, plans, and installation instructions
  • Measure, level, drill, mount, and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Install interior and exterior signage, channel letters, monuments, pylons, illuminated signs, and vinyl
  • Perform basic electrical work associated with illuminated signage
  • Remove, repair, service, or replace existing signage as needed
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and company vehicles
  • Perform site surveys and permit inspections
  • Ensure installations meet company quality standards, specifications, and applicable local codes
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members onsite
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in clean and safe condition
  • Follow established company safety procedures and policies
  • Assist with shop projects and other duties as needed

Sign Installer Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of professional sign installation experience required
  • Experience installing commercial exterior and interior signage
  • Familiarity with channel letters, monuments, pylons, illuminated signage, and vinyl
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lift equipment
  • Ability to read shop drawings, plans, measurements, and installation specifications
  • Basic electrical knowledge related to illuminated signage
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Knowledge of jobsite and shop safety practices
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Professional communication skills when interacting with customers and other trades

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • Schedule may shift or extend depending on project requirements
  • Overtime availability required
  • Occasional weekend projects
